Who is the IGA?

The Interstate Golf Association was established to provide both golfers and golf clubs with a new and fresh look at golf administration.  While the IGA will provide the essential services you will need, the difference IGA is making is in our delivery of services, working with our member clubs in partnership, keeping the needs of our golf clubs and golfers as our top priority. The IGA’s main goal is to provide a golf community within our member clubs and our golf members. We will work together and listen when developing programs that will benefit your golf clubs. The IGA’s philosophy is to put the golfer and the golf clubs first developing core programs that operate on cutting edge technology, making the golfing experience a positive one for all. During these hard economic times we will develop strategies with our clubs and strategic partners to increase play at your clubs. The IGA will have a club liaison program that will work with the clubs to help facilitate and promote play. We will develop strategic alliances that will allow clubs to work together finding solutions to overcome the changing landscape in golf. The Interstate Golf Association realizes that it is going to take a different business model to meet the needs of today's golfers. The IGA is reshaping amateur golf with several progressive new programs to enhance member play to golf clubs and make it easer to find someone to play with through our find a partner program. This association is looking to provide our members with customized services you will use.

To Accomplish This New Dimension in Golf

The IGA is excited to announce that Ray Tippet with 23 years of golf administration will lead the IGA into this new era of golf. Not only has Ray developed new concepts for golfers and golf clubs in California, he has been involved at the national level serving on the USGA Handicap Procedures Committee the past 19 years and also served on the USGA Handicap Committee. Ray is prepared to work with members to reshape golf clubs in todays environment one that will work to maintain the traditional parts of golf while enhancing updated techniques. Maintaining the highest level of services IGA has retained the services of Lori Atchley to continue providing our technical support to our member clubs. The track record of supporting the E19, E/2 & E/3 handicap systems is one of the most important parts of the process. No one knows this better than your handicap chairman or representative that has worked with Lori over the years. By making service and support a top priority for our member clubs and golfers the Interstate Golf Association is confident you will make the right choice when joining the IGA family. The IGA will exclusively offer the E/3 real-time server based system. Several web-based services have been developed to provide our member clubs with instant updates whether it is at your club or on the internet all transactions will be updated instantly allowing member clubs a variety of software applications and tracing services at your fingertips.
